Apart from the roadkill and rock formations, we have also made some shrewd observations concerning the social demographics of the tourist population. We’ve been here for nearly ten days, so we know what we are talking about.

Getting to know Tony did not take us very long. We know his soft spots, his weaknesses and the cheapest places to get his fuel. In return he gets us to some of the prettiest locations on this planet; It’s a pretty sweet deal.

Ah yes, Sinterklaas is who we thought of while we roamed the streets of Auckland where a 15 meter tall Santa statue had just been erected.
